Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Perimeter Checks in Riverside, CA to protect clients across Government and other sectors. You will perform driving unarmed patrols, monitor perimeters, and assist visitors and staff with professional service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at government transportation commission locations while following site procedures and emergency protocols.
• Respond to incidents and inquiries in a calm, professional manner and document per reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of offices, parking areas, transportation facilities, and surrounding perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting security concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and communication logs.

Job Schedule:

• Mon 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM
• Tue 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM
• Wed 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM
• Sat 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM
• Sun 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at government transportation commission locations while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, parking areas, transportation-related facilities, and surrounding perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned locations, documenting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and communication logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
