Allied Universal, based in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Perimeter Patrol Driver. You will serve clients and shoppers, perform patrols of the location, and support a safe, welcoming environment while complying with site policies.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, at least one year of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. This position is on-site in San Diego.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances, exits and high-traffic areas; report suspicious activity and policy violations.
• Document observations and patrol activities following site reporting procedures.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. • Sat 05:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location, sales floor, exterior areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high‑traffic areas; report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and follow site reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security‑related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city‑issued Security Professional license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
