Job summary

Allied Universal in Perris, CA is hiring a Security Officer Driving Patrol. You will serve clients in Logistics & Distribution, patrol, deter incidents, assist with access control, and provide outstanding customer service.

This full-time position requires a valid driver’s license; training is provided and there are opportunities for career growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, entry points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, drivers, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Support a professional environment by maintaining accurate activity logs, completing incident reports, and communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

As a Security Officer Driving Patrolin Perris, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
