Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Route Driving in Wright, WY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a driving unarmed Security Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to site needs with professionalism. You will provide outstanding customer service, clear communication, and reliable support while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.30 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, equipment areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Observe and report potential hazards, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and suspicious activity to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
