Job summary

Allied Universal in Wright, WY is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Route Driving to safeguard clients across a utility site. You will perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering professional customer service.

You'll work a full-time night schedule Tue/Wed/Thu 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM, earn $17.30 per hour, and benefit from Allied Universal's training, growth opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, equipment areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with a calm, problem-solving approach and notify appropriate contacts.
• Observe and report hazards, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and suspicious activity to leadership and client representatives.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, equipment areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Observe and report potential hazards, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and suspicious activity to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
