Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Wright, WY to safeguard clients across utilities and other industries. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and report observations promptly while delivering exceptional customer service.

As an unarmed Security Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor access, verify credentials, document activity, respond to incidents, and prepare accurate reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include: be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the law.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, parking areas, and access points to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity per site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
