Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Utility Center Site Patrol Driver in Alpine, CA. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering exceptional customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, security experience, and the ability to work a rotating schedule. CPR/First Aid is preferred, along with compliance with background checks and drug screening where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law where applicable.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility location, following security procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and communicate observations to site contacts and responders.
• Prepare accurate patrol, incident, and access logs and reports per policy.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Utility Center Site Patrol Driver in Alpine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, access points, buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted operational areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and notifications to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
