Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver in La Jolla, CA. You will protect clients across commercial real estate locations, perform patrols, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding our values of agility, reliability, integrity, and innovation.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, 18+ (21+ for armed roles), a high school diploma or equivalent, and successful completion of background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access issues, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity per site protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, maintenance concerns, and unusual activity through reports and shift communications.

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Shopping Plaza in La Jolla, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Pay Rate: $21.42 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking areas, entrances, perimeter, and other designated property locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, maintenance concerns, and unusual activity through required reports and shift communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
