Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is looking for a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver) in San Diego, CA. You will monitor locations, deter incidents, and respond to security needs, providing professional service to clients and staff. Position Type: Full Time.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour. Schedule includes Thu 2:00 PM–12:00 AM, Fri 10:00 AM–8:00 PM, Sat 10:00 AM–8:00 PM, Sun 10:00 AM–8:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• State/County/City security license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by location.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Driving Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will interact professionally with visitors and staff, conduct routine checks, and communicate observations clearly. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 02:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Sat: 10:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Sun: 10:00 AM - 08:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
