As a Security Officer -Mobile Driver in BOISE, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology-focused construction location. This driving position involves conducting routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitoring access points, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly with site personnel and work with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the construction location, access points, perimeter, parking areas, and adjacent areas as assigned.


• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and reporting unauthorized access concerns.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.


• Observe and report potential hazards, suspicious activity, property damage, and policy violations to help support a professional environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.


• Have supervisory experience.


• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
