• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report unusual activity, potential hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and maintaining an orderly presence that helps to deter unwanted activity.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver License Required in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a driving Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly with visitors and team members while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 AM - 10:30 PM
• Fri 11:00 AM - 10:30 PM
• Sat 11:00 AM - 10:30 PM
• Sun 11:00 AM - 04:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
