As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to shoppers and team members. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with AU Driver Policy requirements. Bring integrity, reliability, and a people-first mindset while working as part of an agile, innovative team.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential loss-prevention concerns, reporting observations to appropriate store leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter unauthorized activity and support an orderly retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
