Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Surveillance in Atlanta, GA. You will provide unarmed patrols, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service at a logistics and distribution site.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, entry points, trailer yards, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor employee, visitor, and delivery-driver access; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
