Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Access Checkpoint Full Time in Union City, GA to monitor and protect client sites within Logistics & Distribution and other industries. You will perform unarmed patrols, manage access control and respond to alarms, while maintaining a visible, professional presence.

The role requires adherence to security procedures, strong communication, and the ability to produce accurate reports.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers and personnel per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facility, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials and documenting arrivals/departures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies following site procedures.
• Complete daily activity and incident reports and communicate with site contacts.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Access Checkpoint Full Time in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and screening activities. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and drivers while responding to alarms and reporting concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, parking areas, trailer yards, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials or visitor authorization as directed, and documenting arrivals and departures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X‑ray screening experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
