As a Security Officer Patrol Alarm Response in Bear, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to alarms and access-control needs, document activity using computer or tablet systems, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
