Job summary

Allied Universal in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Security Officer for a Full Time Unarmed Patrol with recordkeeping responsibilities. You will monitor assigned areas, deter incidents, and support access control while delivering exceptional customer service.

Shifts run day-time to evenings including Thu–Sun; pay is $18.50 per hour. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, background check, and mandatory drug screening. CPR/First Aid preferred; training and benefits provided.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Recordkeeping in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, passengers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established transportation location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas, observe and report unusual conditions or activities, and document incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and responding public service agencies while supporting a welcoming and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
