Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Full Time Security Officer in Texas. You will provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, enforcing site policies and emergency procedures.

You will conduct interior and exterior patrols, verify credentials, monitor access, and report incidents with clear documentation. Roles require 18+ (21+ for armed), a high school diploma, and background/drug screening where permitted.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Valid driver’s license only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site policies and safety procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior/exterior areas to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies with calm, professional problem-solving and escalation when needed.
• Complete logs and incident reports while communicating observations to leadership and site contacts.

• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor activity, and reporting unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
