Job Description

Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

• Age Requirement:
  • All candidates must be at least 21 years of age. (C101)
• Driver's License:
  • Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements. (C123)
• Educational Verification:
  • Candidates are required to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. (C137)
• Experience Requirements:
  • Candidates should have experience in the following areas:

    • Alarm Panel Experience (B202)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and direct individuals to appropriate areas of the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site requirements.
• Complete detailed shift reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in a healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
