Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, has a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Alarm Panel opening in Austin, TX. You will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, deter incidents, and deliver professional customer service to clients in healthcare and other settings.

Position Type: Full Time; Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour; Schedule includes Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen as per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly per site protocol.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility and surroundings.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, employee, and contractor access.
• Document incidents and communicate to site leadership.

Security Officer Full Time Patrol Alarm Panel in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, employee, and contractor access in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
