Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking security professionals to support healthcare facilities. The role includes night shifts, patrols, access control, and incident response to ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

You will participate in regular patrols, monitor entrances, and document all incidents per site procedures, contributing to a culture of safety and reliability across a dynamic healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions requiring attention.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and access-related questions while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.

• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
