Allied Universal in West Chester, PA, is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed CPR Patrol. You will monitor a healthcare location, patrol interiors and exteriors, assist patients and staff, and respond to incidents with professional communication.

Requires excellent customer service, ability to verify credentials, and readiness to undergo background checks and drug screening per policy. Full-time daytime schedule with steady shifts.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and contractors at a healthcare-related location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and notify appropriate contacts or responders as directed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, reporting suspicious activity as required.
• Prepare incident reports and logs, communicating information to site leadership and supervision.

As a Security Officer Unarmed CPR Patrol in West Chester, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, help to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and/or contractors at a healthcare-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
