Allied Universal is seeking a full-time Security Officer in Valdosta, GA. You will provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.

The position offers a pay rate of $16.00 per hour with a Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, and Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM schedule.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, perimeter areas, and restricted locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vehicle, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
