As a Security Officer Part Time Visitor Reception in Fontana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage site entry, monitor access points, verify visitors and deliveries, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will communicate professionally with drivers, employees, and guests while supporting orderly operations. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and driver logs, and control entry and exit for employees, contractors, visitors, and commercial vehicles.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, business operations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing freight traffic in accordance with site procedures and report irregularities, damaged access controls, and other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
