This part-time role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to work across automotive facilities, applying strong customer service and security procedures.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and deter incidents, manage access points, and document observations.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred and licensing requirements per state.
• Background checks and drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Experience in loss prevention or customer service is preferred.
• Ability to use a computer or tablet and access control systems.

Job Schedule

• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, vehicle-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of automotive facilities, parking areas, vehicle storage locations, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery check-in procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
