Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Control access at distribution facility entry points by verifying credentials and logging visitors.
• Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian activity following site procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at distribution facility entry points by verifying credentials, logging visitors and contractors, and directing authorized personnel according to site procedures.
• Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian activity, following established protocols for deliveries, pickups, and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, employee entrances, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
