Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees following site procedures.

• Inspect vehicles, trailers, and shipments and report irregularities.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify site contacts or emergency services.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points and facility perimeter.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and driver logs, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing vehicles, trailers, and shipments in accordance with site procedures; document irregularities and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Possess a Guard Card or license preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
