Allied Universal in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Security Officer to be the welcoming, professional presence at a commercial real estate location, monitor access, assist tenants and visitors, and uphold site policies.

You will use strong customer service and communication skills, document activity, coordinate with site contacts, and respond calmly to incidents while following established procedures.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff at a commercial real estate front desk by following security procedures.
• Monitor access, greet and screen visitors, verify credentials, and direct guests per site procedures.
• Maintain visitor logs, issue access credentials, and communicate with building personnel.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Observe lobby activity, report maintenance concerns, and deter unauthorized access with a professional presence.

Pay Rate: $16.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access to the property, greet and screen visitors, verify credentials as applicable, and direct guests in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain visitor logs, issue and collect access credentials as authorized, and communicate relevant information to building personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Observe front desk and lobby activity, report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access through a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
