Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for part-time vehicle patrol in Santa Ana, CA. The role requires patrolling, monitoring access, and providing excellent customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors.

You will drive as part of daily duties, enforce site policies, and respond to incidents with professionalism. A valid driver’s license and background check are required; the position offers flexible day shifts.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Respond to incidents calmly and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services when required.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and service-related interactions in clear reports.

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.


• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and report access concerns in accordance with site procedures.


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when required.


• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and service-related interactions in clear and accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• A guard card/license is preferred.


• Access control/badge experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
