Job summary

Allied Universal in Irvine, CA is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver for a busy commercial real estate site. You will conduct patrols, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service to tenants and visitors.

This role offers a flexible schedule (DayTime weekend shifts), a $22.00 hourly pay, and the opportunity to learn our shift-claim platform. Candidates must meet minimum requirements including a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Six months of security-related experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property personnel while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols to identify unusual activity and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and document actions taken.
• Prepare clear activity reports and communicate observations to site management.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a commercial office location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or access issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; provide appropriate notifications and document actions taken.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
