Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license as per Allied Universal policy.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in line with federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by location.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency responses.
• Respond to incidents calmly, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, access issues, or hazards and report observations to site leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation with professional communication.

As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 11:30 AM - 07:30 PM
• Sat: 11:30 AM - 07:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and the building perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for security-related concerns such as suspicious behavior, access issues, property damage, or potential hazards, and promptly report observations to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with customers, employees, visitors, and responding public-service personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
