Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a part-time Security Officer Route Patrol Driver in Redwood City, CA. You will patrol, monitor access points, provide customer service, and respond to incidents while maintaining a professional presence.

This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and a flexible schedule with Mon–Wed 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shifts.

• Respond to incidents calmly and report observations to site contacts.
• Perform regular unarmed patrols of interior, exterior, and perimeter areas.

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report observations to appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the property, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Complete required activity reports and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
