Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Atlanta, GA. You will perform patrols, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service at a retail location.

This role emphasizes a visible security presence and professional communication with shoppers, tenants, and visitors. The position requires a valid driver’s license, one year of security experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and mall areas to identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, give directions, report unauthorized access or policy violations to site management.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities in required reports and logs.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and mall common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report unauthorized access or policy violations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
