As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and teamwork.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 07:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with store management, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
