• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and guests by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response if needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, grounds, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with campus personnel, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or guests by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with campus personnel, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
