Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Honolulu, HI. You will patrol hotel and resort grounds, assist guests and staff, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

Requirements include at least 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ability to pass background and drug screening. Flexible evenings/weekends and opportunities for shift-based earning are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age for unarmed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff while following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and coordinate with hotel personnel or responders as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of hotel and resort grounds, guest areas, and perimeter zones.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity or maintenance needs.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports with professionalism.

Pre-Employment Requirement

Security Experience - +1 Years (C115)

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with hotel personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel and resort grounds, guest areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help deter security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, property concerns, and/or maintenance issues in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports while maintaining a professional presence in a hospitality-focused environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
