Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer at a premier hotel/resort location in Honolulu, HI. You will patrol assigned areas, respond to alarms and incidents, and provide welcoming guest service while maintaining safety and order.

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, visitors, and staff.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hotel guest areas, grounds, parking areas and entrances.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.

Job Schedule:

Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas, hotel grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help maintain an orderly, welcoming environment for guests and staff.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and location management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
