Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Honolulu, HI. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with six-month commitment and a path to earn more by taking on additional shifts through our platform.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of guest areas, entrances, exits, and surrounding perimeter.
• Respond to guest concerns and incidents in a calm, professional manner and notify hotel personnel or responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and report suspicious conditions to site leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate daily activities to hotel management and leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Honolulu, HI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a luxury hotel setting.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of guest areas, entrances, exits, public spaces, back-of-house areas, parking locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate hotel personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing guests and vendors, and report suspicious conditions, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with hotel management, Allied Universal leadership, and team members regarding daily activities and incidents.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
