Allied Universal in Honolulu, HI seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Alertness to provide dependable, flexible hours with an anchor shift and option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate incident reports and logs per Allied Universal procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Alertness in Honolulu, HI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

$24.40 / Hour

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel and resort buildings, guest areas, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe property activity, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
