Allied Universal® in Richardson, TX is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide unarmed security support at a healthcare site. You will follow site procedures, respond to incidents, and perform regular patrols with an option to claim additional shifts for higher earnings.

The role emphasizes flexible, fixed anchors with potential to expand hours up to 40 per week. Applicants must meet age, education, and background screening requirements; a valid driver’s license is required

Qualificações

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, including building interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and vendor activity in accordance with site policies, reporting unusual conditions or concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and client representatives.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Richardson, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.
