Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) to support a healthcare location in Atlantic City, NJ. You will provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while performing site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.

Regular patrols help deter incidents and ensure a secure environment. You will monitor access points, report suspicious activity, and respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner.

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following site procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, hazards, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally, following security procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, and observations.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, hazards, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
