Allied Universal in Atlantic City, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Alarm Panel Patrol) to safeguard clients across healthcare locations. You will patrol assigned areas, monitor access points, and respond to alarms with professionalism.

The role offers flexible day schedules and a pay rate of $17.00 per hour, plus opportunities to use our shift-claim platform while delivering courteous service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the healthcare location including interior, exterior, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized access, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow security procedures.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain activity logs for patrols and incidents.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, hazards, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
