Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Unarmed Patrol in Atlantic City, NJ to protect clients across Healthcare and other facilities.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer you will monitor assigned areas, conduct regular patrols, deter incidents, respond to alarms, and deliver courteous service while coordinating with a team and site leadership.

Qualifications

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by Allied Universal.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the healthcare location and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management to maintain order.
• Document incidents and patrols; report to leadership and site representatives.

As a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Unarmed Patrol in Atlantic City, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including building interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping maintain an orderly environment for patients and staff.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately; complete required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
