Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Inspection in Atlantic City, NJ to monitor and safeguard clients across healthcare locations, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents.

You will perform routine patrols, respond to alarms and concerns, and document activities while supporting a welcoming environment as part of a team that values integrity and service.

Qualifications

• State, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security procedures and location policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility entrances, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, direct individuals to appropriate areas, report unusual conditions to site leadership.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation per location requirements.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Inspection in Atlantic City, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a healthcare location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to alarms and/or concerns, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility entrances, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing individuals to appropriate areas, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and location requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
