Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a part-time Security Officer for Atlantic City, NJ. You will provide customer service, monitor access points, patrol healthcare locations, and respond to incidents, maintaining a visible security presence and exceptional service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the use of technology to document activities. Compensation is $17.00 per hour with a daytime schedule and opportunities through the Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• State, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and assist with access-control procedures in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and other security-related activities through required reports and logs.
