Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background check and drug screen are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access-related concerns calmly, following site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entrances, verify credentials, and enforce site requirements.
• Document observations and incidents and report to Allied Universal leadership.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.74 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sat: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated access points; verify visitor, employee, and contractor credentials in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, patrol activities, incidents, and policy violations accurately and promptly, and provide clear reports to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
