As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and help deter security-related incidents. You will use computer or tablet systems, respond to alarm panel activity, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and elevate concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, directing visitors, maintaining visitor logs, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts.
• Observe and report conditions that may affect operations, including unsecured doors, damaged fencing, suspicious activity, and/or facility hazards, following established reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
