Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Gaston, SC. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents.

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions, and the role includes a background check and drug screen where permitted by law. The schedule is Fri 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Sat 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Sun 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM, with opportunities to earn through the Shift platform.

Pay Rate: $18.19 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Fri 02:00 PM - 07:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 07:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed, observe visitor and contractor activity, and maintain accurate logs and reports of incidents and unusual conditions.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership while following post orders, reporting procedures, and applicable client policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
