Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Gaston, SC to safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. You will perform unarmed patrols, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining logs and following post orders.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed, observe visitor and contractor activity, and maintain accurate logs and reports of incidents and unusual conditions.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership while following post orders, reporting procedures, and applicable client policies.
