As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm panels, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will support badge access activities, use computer or tablet-based tools, and deliver outstanding customer service while communicating professionally with employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, including entrances, perimeter areas, parking locations, and other assigned locations.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observed conditions through accurate reports and required communication channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
