Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience are preferred.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout facilities and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate contacts and emergency services.
• Complete clear reports and logs using Allied Universal procedures.

Monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial facilities, equipment areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Complete clear and accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation using Allied Universal and site-required processes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
